Currently, there are 17 private laboratories and 23 government laboratories approved to test for Real-Time PCR (RT PCR tests); 1 private laboratory and 9 government laboratories approved to test TrueNat tests; 2 government laboratories and 6 private laboratories to test for CBNAAT testing of COVID-19 in Gujarat.The State’s infection curve is rising but there is a silver lining. “We may be able to see a declining trend in mortality now onward while cases may continue to rise for another two weeks,” a noted infectious diseases expert told The Hindu.
